Personal Site Server (Personal Sites and web Server) is comprised of 2 main parts.
First is the Web Site Server Application called the NetJetServer. It is an application that runs on your windows computer which is connected to the Internet. It is the actual web server that delivers all of your web pages to the Internet as people browse your site. It is a powerful engine that builds your web pages using a scripting language, embedded HTML and a database which holds all of your site information. The second part of the Personal Site Server product is the web site software. The web site software is all of the web pages that are constructed using the scripting language, HTML the database and supporting programs like the thumbnail maker. A thumbnail is a small version of a graphic that you wish to use on your web site. How it works is when a person, that is browsing your site, requests a web page, the web page is loaded into the NetJetServer an executed and the results from that execution are delivered out back to the user to view. This enables the integration of your data, which is stored in your database, and the formatting HTML code, to be easily delivered to your visitors.
