This is where you view the operations that are happening on your sites. It is a real-time display of all activity that is happening all of your sites and when it is happening. This is also the place where you would shut down your server.
The red circles on the picture above are described below.
- This is the Operations Tab. Click on this tab at any time to return to this view.
- This shows the Server related statistics.
- Started - Date and Time the server was last stared
- Total Data - Total Data (In bytes) that the server has sent
- Memory - The Current Memory Size the Server is using
- Active Pages - The Number of Pages that are being requested at this time
- Cached - The Number of ASP Web Pages that are Cached.
- Asp - The Number of ASP pages that have been sent
- Served - The Total Number of files that have been sent
- Sessions - The current number of Active Sessions
- Total Sessions - The Total Number of Sessions since the Server was started
- This button allows you to stop all of the web sites and terminate the application. Don't click on this button unless you wish to turn off your web server.
The Active Log area shows activity for all websites this server is running. Each log entry is described as indicated in items 4-8.
- This area of the log entry shows the date and time of the request
- This area of the log entry shows the web site name the request was issued for. The web site name may be a domain name, local host, IP address or a Virtual Path.
- This is the command that was received. These are standard commands are sent from web browsers to your web server.
- GET means a request for a web page, graphic or other file was received.
- POST means data from a web page was sent to the server. Data such as when a person fills out a form and clicks on submit.
- HEAD means a request for information about a web page, graphic or file was received.
- This is the IP address of where the request came from on the Internet.
- This is the exact location of the file that was requested. This may be a web page, a graphic, a document or anything that is on your web site.
- This is the status line, it shows the status of your web server. This should read "NetJetServer Running".
